The new air-ride booster dolly with or without steering axle
Most mixer chassis and some dump trucks solve bridge formula requirements and load distribution by extending a Booster Axle or Dolly rearward of the vehicle in order to increase OAL, Wheelbase and GCWR. Booster dollies are typically rigidly connected to the chassis, they are often the cause of significant torsional stress to the truck chassis frame and components. By isolating the booster axle from the chassis using our patented air ride weight transfer system, we are able to eliminate much of this torsional stress for cost savings and an improved ride.
